A few days back I Google searched for a Song Lyrics and found the lyrics is displayed directly on Google Search Page, it just saved me a click, few seconds and also saved me from annoying pop-ups which lyrics websites show us aggressively.
I didn't notice this, even before a couple of months when I searched for the same song. It was not there.
After doing some research I found that they started this feature it in 2014, as part of Google Knowledge Graph. So, when you Google Search for Song Lyrics you will see a Direct Answer from Google if you have searched for song lyrics some well known Band or Publishers.
There are lots of things I know in SEO and a lot many I don't yet. I like it when I discover a new thing that I can do, or find some of the dumbest mistakes I did in the past. Anyway, learning is always great.
All page views in Even numbers
But this time I discovered a mistake, not of mine, but not being aware of it for such a long time is my mistake indeed. But as said before, I have still a lot to learn and finding that I'm learning new things feels great.
The mistake is the Google Analytics code was implemented twice on our website.
Well, not a mere mistake, it is a blunder.
Because of that, the code is triggering twice when a single action is taking place. So, the wrong report in analytics.
It was implemented much before my taking responsibility for the website, and it is not a regular mistake that you check in a routine website audit.
It happened to be that I was learning re-marketing and I wanted to have a campaign for our website. For that, I needed to connect the Google Analytics to Google AdWords for unlocking advanced retargeting capability.
And I also wanted to migrate to GTM instead of adding all the tags directly to the website each time I need one. Every time I had to beg before a developer to help me. So, before that, I was checking how Google Analytics tag is implemented on the site right now.
I found the tag is added twice.
I checked the home page and checked the few other pages. Google Analytics Tag has been added twice on all pages other than the blog pages as they have the different template. And it is added at the end of the <BODY> section, it should be at the top of the <HEAD> section.
To make sure whether the tags are triggering twice I checked Google Analytics report hoping there I will be able to find some clue and I saw all the pages have Page Views in even numbers (see the image on the right), so it seems - yeah, that is it. To make sure I changed the date range. I saw the same.
I was getting the wrong report of the traffic not only that for a long time I was wondering why there is such a significant difference between the number of leads we are actually getting and the number of leads shown in Google Analytics. It was there even on the thank you pages.
So, next time I audit a website Checking how the Analytics and all other tags known to me will be there in the process and on my checklist of website audit.
In the "thank you" pages I found this piece of code, It seems to me to be some other tag. Please let me know if anyone knows what this is -
And also share your learning experience about SEO or any other thing, in the comment.
Update (25th Oct 2017):The best way to check about tags is to installGoogle Tag Assistantplugin on Chrome browser.
The tag that I didn't know of is Google AdWords tag for tracking conversion. Stupid me! I have linked AdWords to Analytics; now I think I do not need this tag as Analytics Goals are imported in AdWords Conversions that can be found under Tools tab on the top of AdWords (after signing in). I will make it sure and update later.
Well, not relevant to this blog, but I wanted to have a collection of my all-time favorite memes, videos, jokes all stuff essential to life. This is for me, I don't know whether it be valuable at all for you. Still, I think you like it.😜
I have many topics on Blogger and SEO in my head to share, but I am sluggish to create serious articles.
This post I thought I would keep a collection of things I find every day that either cracks me up or just I love it for any reason. I will keep it updated when I get new, and I'll try to add all old ones as well. For some I don't know the source, I have them downloaded to my desktop.
Like everyone else, I like animals. But I'm not a fan of buying a pet and having it at my home, but playing with free animals on the street.
In this video, I like the man's interaction with monkeys, and his feeling after not able to help it.
Other videos from the same guy...

I like stupid little things and remember for a long time. In this video, the guy is from Bulgaria. I love accents of people from some European countries (except the UK), Russia, Middle-East. Their accent sounds to me innocent and humble.
The guy in the video sells SEO related services in Fiverrsome people copied not only his Gig Idea, also stole his Gigs cover picture. And he bursts in anger cursing them "dumb motherf*cker," it is hilarious. Watch the video, I embedded it near the exact time where the interesting part starts, if you don't want to watch the whole video.
If you are SEO guy, then it might get your attention. Well, I am not a fan of these kinds of links, I like White Hat SEO, build a relationship not just backlinks. Though I'm not saying they do not work, in many situations buying those links convenient but it is a big risk if you don't know how and when to use these.
I will talk about SEO in much detail, even the whole blog is for that. Now I really like this guy (actually this video) and I might buy his service just because of that. You also can visit his website: Authority Link Building if you wish to.

Anybody loves Bengali girls?
Aug 29, 2017
I can not explain how much I love this, I can listen to it 100 times everyday
The songs name is Yellow Bird if anybody wants to know. The original song is slower and lyrics is little different.
Here's Lyrics for this one (there might be mistaken as the transcript is done by me):
Did your lady friend leave the nest again?
That is very sad, makes me feel so bad.
You should fly away, in the sky away.
Be....be happy me.
Yellow bird, up high on banana tree.
Yellow bird sits all alone like me.
Old and Super Old
This one I received in WhatsApp, do not remember who has sent it to me (not important for you but for me it is),
Of course is not original video (Probably this one is), but for us who do not understand the language, it matches nicely. The video is Ormie the Pig, the song details:
Song: Huppa Lumia Lumia
Originally known as: Zunea Zunea
Singer: Cleopatra Stratan (she was 5)
Language: Romanian
This one is a Master Piece, I watch it almost everyday
Here's original video, but I like to watch that one with the caption. It is true.
Song: Mambo
Actor: Luciano Rosso
Another one I like very much - El Pollito Pío
Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo - Sung beautifully by this old man
Hell, I never thought I would ever write a Product Review.
But why not?
It is easier and much more fun than writing a step by step tutorial how you do shit on Blogger (I really have many ideas for that, but I'm too lazy to write all those).
Damn it, it is fun, the new shit in my hand inspired me, I just put it for charging and started writing a First Look review.
Some people might find me biased, it is because I'm biased. If you want complete unbiased things just look at specs sheet on Amazon, it is the only thing that's 100% unbiased. If I like something for a certain reason and you do not appreciate the same, then you know then that the product is not for you. So, the biased review works just fine that way.
And the review will not be very much information (you are gonna find the technical information on Amazon anyway), it would be somewhat emotional.
Links connect one web page to another web page, but they can also connect one part one part of a page to another part of the same web page.
Here I am practicing how to Create a Links to Jump to a Specific Part of a Page.
If you do not understand what I meant to say, don't worry. If you read this article and follow the instructions, you will not only know what I mean, you will learn it too and will be able to use in your blog.
I explain the process as I do it.
Well, I am following a Hubspot's article to learn that. You will find a link to the article I am following at the bottom of this page.
To find that you have two options,
Either scroll all the way down this article which I deliberately made too long, or
HUGE UPDATE (01 Apr 2017): If you have already read this article before, you know I was not able to do that quite efficiently. But I did it now, the procedure is straightforward and same as everywhere else. But it was not happening at the moment, so an article on that is coming very soon. But, as it took me lots of time and effort I just can't delete this article, besides it really provides value for learning. So now I declare this article as Creating an Internal Link to Jump to a Specific Part of Different Blogger Post.
